JETTY PARK Space Coast Campgrounds

400 Jetty Road, Cape Canaveral, Florida 32920(Phone 321-783-7111)

JETTY PARK one of the best space coast campgrounds, fits everyone's style. From rugged small tent locations next to the fishing pier to the lush tropical grass areas for RVs with full hookups. Over 150 campsites to meet your needs. Facilities offered are water, electricity, sewer, hot showers, laundry facilities, grills, picnic tables, playground, picnic pavilions, bait & tackle shop, beach snack bar, camp store, dump stations and 24 hour security. The campground sites are :

- Sites 1-82 = 20 and 30 amp electric service
- Sites 83-120 = 20,30,50 am electric service
- Sites 1-117 = Water and electric
- Sites 201-217 = No service, only tents
- Sites 301-324 = Water only (closest to water)
- Sites 401-423 = No service (closest to water)

About half the sites in this space coast campground also have concrete slabs. Checkout is 12:00pm. See rates below for costs. They also do allow dogs but you need to get all the rules that apply. I have never taken my dog.. only because he loves swimming so much I am afraid he would swim away...

JETTY PARK BEACH enough for all. Jetty Park has a nice clean beach and can be seen from the pier. Lay in the sun and watch the kids in the water. A lifeguard is on duty at select times, please ask the Jetty Park team when. If you have ever been to Cocoa Beach or any others on the east coast of Florida, this is the same. With the rocks on the left side however, it seems more tame for children. Great sand and great water and waves... that is what the beach is all about.

JETTY PARK FISHING PIER is 1200 feet of quality. The first two thirds is like a boardwalk only 4 feet off the jetty. The last third of the pier is a steel raised pier about 20 feet off the jetty water. The fishing comes and goes but is always fun.

When you stay at Cape Canaveral’s Jetty Park Campground, you never really know exactly what you are going to do or see. You might get to watch the spectacular launch of one of America’s space shuttles or maybe sneak a peek at a secretive nuclear submarine at the U.S. Navy’s Trident Submarine Turning Basin.

You may catch a glimpse of the rare and endangered Florida panther or a 14-foot-long alligator at the nearby Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Gigantic cruise ships transiting to and from the Bahamas pass within feet of the campground, too.

The history of the Jetty Park Campground goes back to the early days of the space program. The campground fronts Port Canaveral’s entrance canal and overlooks the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), the Kennedy Space Center, and the 140,000-acre Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The 35-acre county-owned campground was established in 1964, and contains 150 individual sites and two group camping locations. Tents and RVs are welcome.

There are modern restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, a playground, snack bar and a bait and tackle shop. The 1200-foot-long Malcolm E. McLouth Fishing Pier is a free fishing facility, as well as an excellent cruise ship observation platform. The park’s 4.5-acre, white-sand oceanfront beach is family oriented.

The park offers many other activities including swimming, surfing, volleyball, tug of war, camping, and even a video arcade. Beach lovers may rent umbrellas, chairs, (including a sand wheel chair), or boogie boards, and can enjoy food and beverage service provided by the unique four-wheeled “Dune Diners” that travel the beach.

Watch dolphins and manatees swim free in their natural environment, or catch a glimpse of an endangered sea turtle. All this and more is available at Jetty Park.

The park is also the ideal spot to watch some of the world’s largest cruise ships move in and out of port.

The Great Outdoors Florida RV and golf resort is designed to offer you the special experience of an unspoiled tropical paradise and a world-class Florida RV space coast campground.

We are not a membership RV park like other Florida RV resorts. Our lifestyle choices range from RV sites to custom-built homes designed with RV-ers in mind. You may stay at our RV resort for one night, weeks, a month...or a lifetime!

Standing out from other Florida RV resorts, The Great Outdoors RV resort is created by and for people who love Florida's natural beauty. We left our 2,800-acre RV resort much as we found it, untouched since the days of the Seminole Indians.
